On Friday, June 24th, 2022, the U.S. Supreme Court reversed access to abortion care with the repeal of Roe vs. Wade. At mpathic, we firmly believe that every human should have the right to make decisions about their health, this includes access to reproductive health care. As a remote-first company, we are prepared to ensure that all of our U.S. teammates have consistent and safe access to the health benefits we provide, regardless of the state in which they live.

We will be instituting the following changes for anyone who lives in a state where they cannot receive medical care available in other states:

As a company striving to be anti-racist and to work from an intersectional equity lens, we acknowledge that the repeal of Roe v. Wade disproportionately affects women and non-binary people of color and those without the financial ability to travel to a state that offers comprehensive reproductive care access. In these moments, we also recognize the importance of voting and activism for ensuring civil rights and equitable access to critical health and social resources.

mpathic continues its prior commitment to provide time-off for voting.

Sincerely,

Grin Lord, CEO
